On September 23, IHS Brazil joined the Telefonica Foundation to support the non-governmental organization “Aldeia do Futuro”. This organization provides vocational and soft skill development courses to 400 residents of a vulnerable community located next to the IHS office in São Paulo.

IHS Brazil Delivers Site Visit Employee Program

To help strengthen office-based employees’ knowledge of the IHS business, IHS Brazil has organized guided visits to a greenfield tower site. The site was chosen considering HSSE requirements, and because of the number of interesting technical details available in this one location. Employees receive a brief explanation before leaving the office regarding IHS Brazil’s solutions and important safety procedures to observe during the tour.

The initiative has been a huge success among non-technical colleagues and sessions are booked until October. This is part of IHS Brazil’s Operations team’s efforts to bring colleagues closer to the field so that they can better support customer needs and IHS’ growth. To date, three site visits have concluded with more to follow.

First Offsite for Colombia and Peru

At the end of August, our Spanish-speaking colleagues participated in an offsite in Bogotá, organized by the new CEO for Colombia and Peru, Carlos Reyes. It was the first time that the entire group had met in person. Colleagues from Brazil were also invited to share knowledge on available solutions and processes in place regarding Commercial, Operations and Procurement. Compliance, HR, Communications and Sustainability shared policies and ongoing activities that these operations should be supporting.
