IHS Kuwait Pursues AC Donation Program
With summer temperatures exceeding 48°C, IHS Kuwait contributed to the wellbeing of 15 families through their Air Conditioning (AC) Donation Program. The AC installation was completed in the families’ residences with the old units replaced by new units supplied by IHS Kuwait. The initiative was organized in collaboration with Balad Al Khair Society who are helping connect IHS Kuwait with local communities.
Supporting Employee’s Health and Wellbeing
In July, the Kuwait Safety Engagement Team team hosted an online session on heat, health and nutrition with an external guest speaker and registered dietician. The session focused on heat exhaustion, strokes, hydration and diet, while providing attendees with practical recommendations for improving their nutrition.
The following month, IHS Kuwait’s HSSE team delivered training on fire prevention with an external speaker, Adel AL Nassar, Chairman of the Board at Kuwait Fire Protection Association in attendance.
Finally, in September, the HSSE team delivered an online session on “Ergonomics in the Workplace” with practical suggestions on how to reduce strain on the body.
